Optimazation process

Website Analysis brief
Homepage
The visual design was inconsistent and didn't enable users to identify the website as an online gallery because of the mix of blogs and artwork. The size and shape of the artwork were different.
Solution
-
Redesign layout by widening the gap between artworks and cropping the images to the same shape
-
Show the prices of artworks after clicking the image. To make the online gallery less similar to E-commerce websites.
Artists page
After clicking the “Artists” on the homepage’s navigation, the page only showed one artist's bio.
Solution
To show all the artists and their artworks to enable users to view their art styles, traits, inspirations, and their personal stories and links to their art works.
Overall suggestions
-
Add content about artists' backgrounds, traits, and personal experiences in the bio.
-
Provide the process and details of creating artwork or unique materials used by artists to motivate buyers by resonating them with the inspiration and the story behind the artwork
